For almost 13 years, I have administered and maintained this Evangelization Apostolate of God’s Divine Love and Mercy without ever asking for a single monetary donation.
But as many of you are aware, I have been undergoing some very difficult times since January of this year, the end result being that I am legally separated from my wife of 21½ years, and the relationship apparently has no hope of reconciliation, as our paperwork is proceeding to the courts for a final decree of divorce.
This has forced me to move out of my home and I am now living in a small boarding room, which reminds me of a hermit monk’s cell. It is good for my humility, but the cost of the room and my other medical and personal expenses places a great burden upon me to maintain fiscal stability.
At the age of 74 with chronic kidney disease and congestive heart failure, I also have medical bills which I am trying to stay on top of. I have been constantly researching job opportunities, but many of the job openings are for younger men with stronger bodies.
As a result, I am forced to do something which I thought I would never have to do – asking for financial donations so that I can maintain and continue this Apostolate, even though it is in an abbreviated form compared to what I used to post.
