November 17 ~ The School of Suffering

Theme:  Suffering for Souls

“The Lord said to me, ‘I am taking you into My school for the whole of Lent. I want to teach you how to suffer.’ I answered, ‘With You, Lord, I am ready for everything.’ And I heard a voice, ‘You are allowed to drink from the cup from which I drink. I give you that exclusive privilege today…’” (Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 1626)

My prayer response:

Lord Jesus, be my Teacher on how to suffer, so I might teach others. I know that we all suffer, but so much of the suffering in the whole world is wasted! May I drink from the cup from which You drank, Lord. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)
