“You must be annihilated, destroyed, living as if you were dead in the most secret depths of your being. You must be destroyed in that secret depth where the human eye has never penetrated; then will I find in you a pleasing sacrifice, a holocaust full of sweetness and fragrance. And great will be your power for whomever you intercede.” (Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 1767b)

My prayer response:

Lord Jesus, help me to surrender the depths of my being to You. I want to cross out my self-will like Saint Faustina did with a big X (see Diary, 374 below), and do Your will as a pleasing sacrifice to You. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)

[Note: “From today on, my own will does not exist…The moment I knelt down to cross out my own will, as the Lord had bid me to do, I heard this voice in my soul: ‘From today on, do not fear God’s judgment, for you will not be judged.’” (Diary, 374)]
