“In order that you may know at least some of My pain, imagine the most tender of mothers who has great love for her children, while those children spurn her love. Consider her pain. No one is in a position to console her. This is but a feeble image and likeness of My love.” (Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 1447b)

My prayer response:

Lord Jesus, I pray that my fervent and loving reception of You in Holy Communion may be a consolation to You. I cannot begin to imagine Your pain when souls receive You indifferently. Help me to love You more deeply and tenderly, and more faithfully. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)
