May 24 ~ My Power
Theme: Eucharist
“On Thursday, when I went to my cell, I saw over me the Sacred Host in great brightness. Then I heard a voice that seemed to be coming from above the Host: ‘In the Host is your power; it will defend you.’” (Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 616)
“October 3, 1936. During the rosary today, I suddenly saw a ciborium with the Blessed Sacrament. The ciborium was uncovered and quite filled with hosts. From the ciborium came a voice: ‘These hosts have been received by souls converted through your prayer and suffering.’ At this point, I felt God’s presence as a child would; I felt strangely like a child.” (Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 709)
My prayer response:
Lord Jesus, may the Eucharist be my power in the battle of life and the power of my intercession for souls. As I receive You in Holy Communion, help me offer my little sufferings to You for the sake of souls who are most in need of Your Mercy. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)
