Mercy Minutes with Jesus (from Saint Faustina’s Diary)

April 23 ~ My Own Glory

Theme:  Proclaim My Mercy

“God has promised a great grace especially to you [Father Sopocko] and to all those… ‘who will proclaim My great mercy. I shall protect them Myself at the hour of death as My own glory. And even if the sins of souls were as dark as night, when the sinner turns to My mercy, he gives Me the greatest praise and is the glory of My Passion. When a soul extols My goodness, Satan trembles before it and flees to the very bottom of hell.’(Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 378)

My prayer response:

Lord Jesus, may I please claim Your promise for myself and for all apostles of Divine Mercy. May we be protected as Your own glory at the hour of our death, and may Satan tremble and flee to the very bottom of Hell. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)

  1. You actually make it appear really easy together with your presentation but I to find this matter to be really one thing which I feel I’d never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking ahead on your subsequent publish, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

    1. Lyndon, the posting topics are generally sequential from one day to the next.

      1) There is the “Saint of the Day”, which is the holy person the Church recognizes and to whom a specific day is given for commemoration.

      2) There are the “Scripture Readings” for the day, the Readings which are read at that day’s Masses.

      3) The “Meditation for the Day” is a spiritual reflection based upon the daily Scripture Readings.

      4) “Mercy Minutes” is taken from the Diary of Saint Faustina titled Divine Mercy in My Soul, and it is about her spiritual thoughts and insights.

      5) “Mercy Minutes with Jesus” is also taken from St. Faustina’s Diary, but includes actual conversations which our Lord Jesus had with her.

      6) The “Daily Prayer Requests” allows the individual readers to post any personal prayer petitions which they wish to have me include in my daily prayer offerings to our Heavenly Father.

I pray that this synopsis of the various topics will assist you in better understanding what is being presented.

      Peace and God’s blessings, †
      Ed Cole
