Mercy Minutes with Jesus (from Saint Faustina’s Diary)

February 24 ~ Rays of Mercy

Theme:  The Image of The Divine Mercy

“Once, the image was being exhibited over the altar during the Corpus Christi procession [June 20, 1935]. When the priest exposed the Blessed Sacrament, and the choir began to sing, the rays from the image pierced the Sacred Host and spread out all over the world. Then I heard these words: ‘These rays of mercy will pass through you, just as they have passed through this Host, and they will go out through all the world.’ At these words, profound joy invaded my soul.”(Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 441)

“As I was glancing through [the booklet with the Chaplet, the litany and the novena], Jesus gave me to know interiorly: ‘Already there are many souls who have been drawn to My love by this image. My mercy acts in souls through this work.’ I learned that many souls had experienced God’s grace.”(Mercy Minutes with Jesus/Diary, 1379)

My prayer response:

Jesus, may the rays of Your Mercy pass through me to many souls in need. I desire that these rays of Divine Mercy draw more souls to Your Love. (Mercy Minutes with Jesus)

    1. Anna, please know that you and your prayer requests are in my daily offerings to our Heavenly Father. If what you are praying for is pleasing to the will of God, may He grant your requests in His time and in His way according to His providential Love for you.

Always remain close to God in personal sanctity, living a virtuous life, and always persevere in your daily prayers.

And remember always the words of St. Padre Pio, “Pray, hope, and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.”

      Peace and God’s blessings, †
      Ed
